Haemoglobin (Hb)

The protein in red cells that carries oxygen.
Low haemoglobin means anaemia; high values can occur with dehydration or certain lung and blood conditions.

RBC, MCV, MCH, MCHC

The size and haemoglobin content of your red cells.
These indices point to the cause of anaemia: small pale cells suggest iron deficiency, large cells suggest B12 or folate.

Total White Blood Cell Count (TLC)

Your immune cells.
A raised count often means the body is fighting infection; a low count can occur in viral illness or dengue.

Differential Count

The breakdown of white cell types: neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils.
Neutrophils rising typically points to bacterial infection, lymphocytes to viral, eosinophils to allergy or parasitic infection.

Platelet Count
